CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WIRELESSHART AND ZIGBEE
A Webinar hosted by Gary Mintchell, Editor in Chief of Automation World, and presented by: Steve Toteda - President, WINA
This webinar compares and contrasts the performance between two leading standards-based WSN technologies—WirelessHART® and ZigBee®. It will describe the communication methodology used by each and evaluate both network scalability and reliability in challenging RF environments. The discussion will include an analysis of the low-power claims of each as well as a look at how and why low-power is a leading driver in the development of new field devices for the industrial market. Case studies using each technology will provide an inside look at the technology in use today.
